Day 1: First day riding my bike – Fat Cyclist

The journey to riding bike started on June 25, 2016. My goal is not to be the best at racing nor is it to be able to do the Tour de France. The goal I have set for myself is to use the bike, and hopefully lose some weight in the process. I have set myself a realistic goal in terms of distance that I think i should be able to accomplish by years end. A simple 600 miles on the bike before the start of the new years and I will feel like I made a decent effort at riding the bike. At the time of writing this there are 189 days left in the year.

To make my goal for the year I will have to ride at least 23 miles a week. This week has been exceptionally terrible in terms of distance on the bike but I hope for improvements!
